2019, Glyfada, Short Term Missions:

Glyfada- Getting Started

Our group had a wonderfully encouraging day! We had many big unknowns this morning as our team took on a hefty to-do list, but we were met with so many answered prayers.

Vacation Bible School started today, and we had 21 beautiful children join us in singing, dancing, tie dyeing, painting, and learning scripture. The kids were able to hear from Rob about how wisdom plays a role in his life, and then heard about how wisdom has been important for King Solomon as well. We are so looking forward to building deeper relationships with these children and sharing more of God’s love with them as the week goes on!

This afternoon our team began hands on work with Bluprint and Voula House as well. Beka made connections at Bluprint, which was both an encouragement to her and to those doing work there. Matt was able to visit Voula house to get a better idea of how recent repairs have gone.

Tomorrow our team will spend the day split between Bluprint, Voula House, and VBS. We are thrilled to be able to spend more time in ministries that are so near and dear to our hearts and look forward to seeing more of God’s plan for these missions. Please pray for unity within the team as we move in different ministries throughout the day and rest after some very long days.

We were able to get one picture uploaded somehow, but have many more hopefully coming soon! Here are the ladies at the Acropolis on Sunday.
