In I Peter 4:8-10 believers are exhorted to “...love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” This is our hope for what you experience as you participate in Christ’s church in this place - a family of believers who love deeply, welcome well, and put their gifts into practice through serving others. Below are opportunities for you to serve in this manner right now.
PRISON MINISTRY: If you enjoy music and being with people, we need your help. Several weekends per month Calvary Pastoral Staff member Ardo Draper visits area prisons ministering through worship services. Interested? Contact at ext. 5182.
SHUTTLE MINISTRY: We are looking for additional drivers to do pick-up and drop-off on Sunday mornings for those who are not able to drive to church. The ideal person loves people, enjoys driving and does so safely. They also have a good sense of direction. Contact Brian Novak at ext. 5117 to sign up.
