Kids-N-Action

Put your faith into action!

Kids-N-Action is Calvary Kids’ Western-themed Wednesday night program which focuses on the application of biblical truth. Our desire in Kids-N-Action is that children understand what God says in the Bible, believe it, and obey it in their daily lives. KIDS-N-ACTION is designed to foster social interaction through electives, while facilitating spiritual growth in learning from the book of James how to “put your faith into action.” According to the Bible, it’s not enough to know what God wants – you have to DO it too.

This year, in Kids-N-Action, kindergartners through fourth graders will:

  • Have the opportunity to experience each elective (super sports, amazing art, pen pals, karate kids, kid vs. wild and cool construction) for a few consecutive weeks.
  • Memorize James chapter 4, and put its teaching into action through fun activities.

JAMES GANG:
Every year at Kids-N-Action, elementary children have the opportunity to join the “James Gang” as they work to memorize and understand an entire chapter from the book of James while putting their faith into action through meaningful service projects.

 SPECIAL CARE:
At Calvary Kids, we seek to minister to children of all abilities and disabilities. For more information, contact Shelly Lamport at 956-9377, ext. 5526.

* Lil’ Kids-N-Action is only available for children of Wednesday night volunteers or those attending other Wednesday night programming at Calvary. Please note that parents of children birth through first grade must remain in the building.

Special Nights 2017-2018

Pajama Night (October 18 & January 31):
Let’s put our Faith-N-Action by bringing a new pair of pajamas for a foster child. Kids can wear their pajamas to Kids-N-Action too! (No nightgowns, please).

Role Model Night (November 15): Guest speakers share their testimonies and a special activity with the children in each class.

Global Emphasis Night (March 21): Guest missionaries share about and help the children experience the culture in which they have worked to share the Gospel.
