Middle School Ministry
Calvary's Middle School Ministry (Fifth to Eighth Grade) strives to connect students to Jesus and to each other. We highly value creating an environment that is safe and enjoyable for all students. We teach biblical truths in creative ways and strive to point students toward a relationship with Jesus Christ.
All are welcome - whether you regularly attend Middle School Ministry or not, we’d love to meet you!
Middle School 56 (For Students Who are in Fifth & Sixth Grade)
- Jump Start
September 28 | 6:00-8:30pm | $5 | Room 208 (Entrance D)
Invite your friends to help us jump start our year! We will laugh and jump and play together on many different inflatables! Invite friends from school or your neighborhood to begin the school year with us! Snacks will be provided. Please register in advance at mycalvarygr.org.
- Fall Retreat
October 19-20 |$60 | Meet: Gathering Place
Join your fellow fifth and sixth graders for 24 hours of fun, fellowship, and a time in the Word. The fall retreat is a great way to meet new friends and get to know people better! We will meet at church for pizza and then head to Pine Ridge Bible Camp for the retreat! Register at mycalvarygr.org by October 15.
- Movie Night

All movie lovers invited! Come join your fellow fifth and sixth graders for a cozy movie night as the seasons turn. Snacks will be provided. Register at mycalvarygr.org.
- Christmas Party

Join us during normal programming time as we celebrate the season together in community. Food, games, and friends will all be part of the evening! Invite your friends. No need to register.

- Pizza in the Park

Invite a friend and join us in the park for pizza! We'll have games and hammocks, and will soak up the last bit of summer. Register at mycalvarygr.org.
- Fall Retreat

We are planning an amazing weekend of fellowship, fun, and time in God's Word at Pine Ridge Bible Camp. You won't want to miss this year's Fall Retreat! - Craig's Cruisers

Meet and Pick up in Room 208
Join your fellow 7th and 8th graders for a fun day at Craig's Cruisers! Enjoy their pizza buffet and four attractions. Bring extra money for arcade and the trampoline and ninja course (optional). Register at mycalvarygr.org by November 2.

Let's love our city! After we meet up and share breakfast, we will head out to serve our neighbors around Grand Rapids. This event is a combined middle school ministry event and is for all students 5th- 8th grade.

Bring your favorite cereal to share while we watch The Star! Note: The film will start promptly at 10:45am and will end at 12:15pm. This event is a combined middle school ministry event and is for all 5th- 8th graders.

High School Ministry
Calvary's High School Ministry (Ninth to Twelfth Grade) invites you to join them... because we're in this thing together. It's what we want, it's what we need, it's what we crave. We are not meant to go through this life alone - and especially not to go through the spiritual life alone. We need each other. So what do you say? Will you join us.

- Overtime: Sundays Following United|8:00-9:00pm| Room 208| Overtime is intentional extra community-building time at the conclusion of UNITED
- Halftime: Begins September 19| Wednesdays 3:30-5:00pm| Gathering Place
At Halftime, we reconnect and refresh with friends midweek to enjoy fun games & activities as well as well as to engage in relevant disscussion led by a different guest from Calvary Church each week. Halftime truly is a great way to connect to one another and the larger church! No need to register, just show up!
- Guys' & Girls' Night Out |October 12 6:00- 9:00pm| & November 19 6:00-7:30pm
Guys' & Girls' Nights are low-key and semi-spontaneous times for high school students to hang out. These events are designed to be fun, memorable, and ideal for inviting friends who don't attend church. Some will be combined, other will be specific for girls and guys individually. Enjoy hanging out with both old and new friends as we strengthen our relationships in our United community and discover together what God has in store for us this coming year. Do you love all things Fall and Autumn... dounts, hot dogs, bonfires, cider, and more? Well, have we got the event for you! Join us at our A Festive Conspiracy outdoor event to enjoy hanging out with your friends on our Patio transformed into a UNITED Fall Festival. Do you also enjoy a good mystery? Are you itching for a puzzle to solve? Who knows?... you may just get that too. To figure that out ...you must first join us at the party!
