Women

During the 2018-2019 school year, women will discover together the treasure in the Old Testament book of Isaiah. The study titled, “Revealed: Seeing The LORD Through The Imagery of Isaiah,” will look at beautiful imagery like the Potter and Clay, Light and Darkness, the Vineyard, the Seed…all which has roots in Old Testament prophesy that is fulfilled in Jesus Christ. The study will reveal our God in amazing ways so that we can be women rooted, growing and fruitful in God’s Word. We officially start September 18, but you can join us anytime through the year. You will be placed in a small group where you will actively discuss and study the imagery in Isaiah. After small group, we come together as a large group in the Gathering Place for teaching and testimonies. Our study begins at 9:15am and ends at 11: 15am but you are welcomed to stay longer and enjoy lunch with other women. We have a beautiful fellowship space to enjoy!

Register online by September 12 to ensure your placement in the small group of your choice. Yearly cost is $20.

Something for kids too! While mom is in Bible Study, our children’s ministry is a wonderful place for children birth to 6 years of age to learn God’s truth in a loving atmosphere. While the women study Isaiah, our little ones will be learning from the Bible about God’s amazing plan too! Teachers and helpers use Bible stories, music and fun activities to reinforce the weekly lesson. Register at mycalvarygr.org.

On Wednesday evening while the children are in Kids-N-Action, moms and working women can come together for growth in God’s Word, prayer, worship and community. We invite you to join us on Wednesday evening from 6:30-7:45pm as we learn from the Old Testament book of Isaiah in a study titled, “Revealed: Seeing the Lord Through the Imagery of Isaiah."

We will begin on September 12 in Room 260. Cost is $20.

Register by September 11.

God has sent us out into the desert places of our community with the “Living Water” and we are trusting Him to cause salvation to spring up! We continue with times to encourage each other, share how God is working, and tackle any struggles on the journey through prayer.

Using Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth’s book, Adorned: Living out the Beauty of the Gospel Together, and video teaching from the True Woman Conference, this group will study the instructions to women in Titus 2 which provide a roadmap to help women experience the kind of community and influence God designed them to have in the church and the world. This is for women of all ages, seasons, and places on the journey of faith and also a great opportunity for two women already in a mentoring relationship. The teaching and discussion will highlight wisdom to help you grow – woman to woman- into someone whose life adorns the beauty of the Gospel.
