No God But One - a new book by Nabeel Qureshi

Many of us enjoyed hearing Nabeel Qureshi speak at the Legacy 2016 conference in June. I've had the privilege of reading an advance copy of Nabeel's new book, No God But One: Allah or Jesus, set to be released August 30.

I highly recommend this book for those who want to grow both in their understanding of how to reach out to Muslims and in their love for Jesus. Here's a review I wrote to post on Goodreads:

Nabeel Qureshi’s new book, No God But One: Allah or Jesus? is a unique work - one that serves many different purposes for many different audiences. Are you curious about what the real differences are between Islam and Christianity? Do you want to know how those differences impact the big questions facing our world today? Have you found yourself wondering - as a Muslim - why what you believed is different than what is being done in the name of Islam? Are you a follower of Jesus who wants to know how to share his Good News with the Muslims around you? Or are you, like me, just someone who needs to be reminded the depth of the love God has for you?

All these questions come forward and are answered in No God But One. The book’s structure - asking two key questions (“Are Islam and Christianity Really All That Different?” and “Can We Know Whether Islam or Christianity Is True?”) and answering each in five distinct ways - is logical and builds on itself. Prior detailed knowledge of either faith is not needed to follow Qureshi’s discussion. The writing is in depth yet clear, and frequent references to the author’s personal experiences keeps it engaging.

I have lived in a majority Muslim nation and have carefully tried to explain Christ and show his love to friends there. If I had had this book eighteen years ago, my task would have been much easier and the results much more satisfying.
