Listening, Obedience, Submission
In this message from Isaiah 50, we receive a picture of the Ideal Servant as represented in the prophecy of Jesus. The Ideal Servant takes time to listen to the Master’s voice and then is willing to submit to God’s will no matter what the outcome might be. Isaiah then encourages his listeners to continue to trust in the name of the Lord, no matter how dark the path.
