Today was the second day of VBS! It was a day full of fun games like Two Truths and One Lie, Poison Dart Frog and getting to know each other’s names games, followed by a Fruit of the Spirit teaching by our team leader Luke on Peace!
2 Thessalonians 3:16
Now the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
Philippians 4:6
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
We had another day at David’s Ju Jitsu gym where we had time for worship and Ju Jitsu! Luke shared many different ways in how we can grow in peace and fellowship with God throughout our lives and how God’s peace can transform us and we can offer that peace to one another and be examples to the outside world. Our prayer is our lives would be marked in God’s peace and we would be known as peacemakers on the earth and show how God cares for and provides for His people and how His peace can transform and influence every aspect of our lives. May the world see us, God’s people, as peaceful and blessed and desire to follow God too!
We continue to believe in God’s abundant blessings over all our team members this week. Continue to cover us in prayer and pray for the LORD’s protection for each of us and that each team member would continue to draw closer to God and experience more of his abundant provision, love and mercy for each of us. Please continue to pray for Glyfada, the church of Glyfada, Athens, Greece, the kids at VBS and their families, and the team and staff at the church and the missionaries serving here and around the world.
