As we continue on in this pandemic, you may be noticing that there’s a spectrum of people’s response to the situation at hand. For some this all engenders a struggle with fear, while on the other end some are struggling with submission. You may find there’s even some conflict in between both ends, especially if you relate closely to someone on the opposite end from you. In this Word for Today, Pastor Jim walks through Ephesians 2 and helps us see that Jesus came to destroy what divides us because He himself is our peace. Our prayer in the midst of these conflicts is for unity and we find that unity as we focus less on the law and more on Jesus. Take note: This Thursday we’re hoping to answer some of your questions. Email us questions related to today’s video, past videos, or just about what’s going on in…

As we continue through this quarantine, you might find yourself going through cycles of grief. You may have been feeling optimistic one day only to be reminded on the next day of something else that has changed. In today’s Word for Today, Jim and Lisa share from Psalms 42 and 43. May we be reminded as we go through cycles of lament and grief that while our feelings are valid, when we take them to the Lord and put our hope in God then we will find peace in these days.
