78: Summer Missions Trip: Cleveland, Ohio

Overview: 7&8 Students and Leaders will go to Cleveland, Ohio and partner with Next Step Ministries in ministering to the local community in Cleveland through service projects geared toward helping people in the community that are in need. We will stay at The Nehemiah Mission of Cleveland which is situated on the West side of Cleveland, Ohio. Students will be challenged and encouraged to grow in their faith through serving the Cleveland community. Students will put their love of the Lord into action by serving others.
Theme Verse: Mark 10:45 – “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Wednesday, June 21 | 8:00-9:30pm | Snacks Provided
Goals:
- To provide students with opportunities to further get to know Jesus and grow their love for him.
- To build community with each other and adult leaders
- To demonstrate God’s love and share their faith in the community of Cleveland (and hopefully that they will grow to do the same thing back home in Grand Rapids, too!)
