This fall, Calvary transitions from MOPS to EMBRACE: Women Embracing Motherhood Together. During the busy season of raising babies and young children, this group will provide a warm community where faith is strengthened through friendships, mentoring and sound teaching. We have a new name, but hope to provide the same great experience for moms in this unique season.
Embrace will meet 1st and 3rd Thursday mornings, 9:30-11:15am (beginning October 1) with both in-person and virtual small groups that will consist of a devotional, plenty of time for fellowship, mentoring and insightful speakers, all done at the group’s pace. In-person groups will be limited to 10 women. Masks must be work in the building. Once you are seated in your small group and socially distanced you can remove masks for discussion.
One of our biggest challenges this year is Embrace Kids since many of our volunteers are not able to serve with this pandemic. We hope some of you can arrange childcare through family and friends. We will offer a limited Embrace Kids for those who don’t have other options. Small groups may be alternating in-person to allow moms who need childcare to access the limited children’s program that we can provide.
