Join Calvary sisters in Christ (ages 8 – 108) for an evening of dessert, inspiration, conversation and worship led by Katie Mateer. Our topic will be, “Waiting: A Good Part of Our Story.”
Special guest speaker, Shannon Popkin, will help us consider how we trust God in the long stretches of waiting for Him to fulfill His promises. Our temptation is often to turn to control and self-reliance, as Sarah did in the Bible. But God invites us to walk by faith in the waiting.
Shannon is the author of books, Control Girl and Comparison Girl, and a new Bible Study titled, Shaped by God’s Promises.
