March 30 | 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
As Pastor Artie explained so wonderfully on March 2, Revelation 7 gives us a vision of the future Kingdom, and inspire us to live in that reality today. That Kingdom is a radically-unified, multi-ethnic kingdom — one characterized by racial and ethnic harmony in Christ, radical love for neighbor expressed through our mindsets, words, and actions; and, where our differences are not erased, but celebrated. What then would it mean—and what would it require of us—to pray with intentionality, “thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven?” and to truly be Christ’s church in this place?
Where might we have blind spots, biases or even prejudices? Where might we be holding on to sinful patterns of thinking, or even generational sin, and need to become more disciplined in the way of Jesus? How do we know if we’re being more discipled by our media than by God’s Word? What would it mean for us to do spiritual formation in the area of ethnicity and race?
Please prayerfully consider joining us at 6pm on March 30 in the Gathering Place for a Night of Prayer for Racial Unity, with special guest, Pastor Artie Lindsay. This will be a time of deeper discussion, prayer, and seeking the Lord.
