We are embarking on an exciting adventure through the first book of the Bible. We’ll cover Genesis 25-50. The study will highlight and build a foundation of hope in God’s promises. Many things change, but God’s truths stand as a firm foundation forever. We all gather for a 20-minute large group teaching in the Chapel, then meet in gender specific small groups to go over the lessons and pray together. Tuesday Women’s Bible Study
Tuesday Women’s Bible Study will be Genesis: In the Beginning God. We’ll cover Genesis 1-24 this fall and Genesis 25-50 in the winter/spring. Warren Wiersbe wrote, “The Book of Genesis is the ‘book of basics’ because it’s the ‘book of beginnings’ in the Bible. To know Genesis is to know the fundamental truths – the basics – about God, the world, yourself and other people, law, sin, salvation, faith, and spiritual fulfillment.” Bible study starts September 21, but you can join us anytime throughout the year. You will be placed in a small group where you will actively discuss the Bible study together. After small group, we come together as a large group in the Gathering Place for teaching and testimonies. Throughout the year we will have optional small group socials and opportunities for “Table Talks” as well. Bible study is 9:15am – 11:15am, Tuesdays. Although most will be interested in...

Something for kids too! While mom is in Bible Study, Tuesday Kids is a wonderful place for children birth to six years of age to learn God’s truth in a loving atmosphere. Embrace provides a warm community where faith is strengthened through friendships, mentoring and sound teaching for moms with babies and young children. The Embrace theme this year is Fruits of Motherhood. Embrace and Embrace Kids will meet 1st, 3rd, 5th Thursday mornings, 9:15-11:15am beginning September 30. The evening Embrace kickoff event is for Moms only, on September 16 at 7-9pm on the patio near Entrance D at Calvary Church. We would love to have you join us for fellowship, mentoring, devotions, breakfast and insightful speakers. Calvary’s Homeschool Moms meet once a month for a time of prayer and building community. Join us on the first Friday of the month, October through May. Children are welcome. We provide care, activities and a place for studying. It is a pre-requisite for membership, but we encourage anyone who wants to become more familiar with what we believe to take the class. The class is open to anyone 12 years of age or older.
