56/78: How Can I Be Saved? | Sunday, February 26; March 5; March 19; March 26 | Second Service | Cost: $10 In this four-week class, we will discover some answers to the question, "How can I be saved? " We will cover the Ordo Salutis in Romans 8 and learn about foreknowledge and predestination, calling and conforming by the spirit, justification, and glorification. During this class, students will make a piece of stained glass art to remind them that oftentimes beauty can be found in structure. Maundy Thursday Seder Meal | April 6 | 6:00pm - 8:00pm | $15 Experience the last supper as Jesus did with His disciples in the Upper Room. A better understanding of the Seder meal (Jewish Passover) enables Christians to more appreciate the meaning of the Lord’s Supper. Registration opens on March 6 and is limited and advanced registration is required for attendance. It is a pre-requisite for membership, but we encourage anyone who wants to become more familiar with what we believe to take the class. The class is open to anyone 12 years of age or older. Theresa Lasher is a brain tumor survivor and author of two books, The Child becomes The Parent: Coping with Grief, and Life is: Good, Fragile, Precious—Loving yourself so you can love others. She will share some unexpected blessings in the midst of her caregiving-grief journey. The quest started with the rescue of her Dad from many states away. Lunch will be served. Men’s (Older Adult) Golf League
Men’s (Older Adult) Golf League
Come join a group of older adults every Tuesday morning at Boulder Creek Golf Club. It’s a great chance to enjoy good Christian fellowship and get some exercise. This isn’t a formal golf league and it’s open to golfers of all skill levels. Just show up when you’re able to be there and, each week, we have a draw to determine foursomes for the week so it’s a great way to meet new people. The weekly draw happens at 8:45am and the first tee time is at 9:06am. The cost is $35 for 18 holes of golf with a cart. For more information, contact Ken (kitskenneth@gmail.com). Something for kids too! While mom is in Bible Study, Tuesday Kids is a wonderful place for children birth to six years of age to learn God’s truth in a loving atmosphere. Teachers and helpers use Bible stories, music and fun activities to reinforce the weekly lesson. Register for Tuesday Kids at mycalvarygr.org by September 12. Calvary’s Homeschool Moms meet once a month for a time of prayer and building community. We invite you to join us on the first Friday of the month, October through May. If you feel led to support homeschooling families, childcare help is needed the first Friday of every month, October through May.
