2017, Guyana, Short Term Missions:

Guyana 2017: Day 9 & 10

What an awesome past few days we have all had. We have been busy here but God is so faithful.

Thursday we had another great day of VBS and enjoyed continuing to love in these kids for Jesus and share skits and music with them.

We also had our final evening crusade. What an awesome time this was. We had the opportunity to continue with worship and perform our skit, “Set free”. One of our team members, Bethany was able to share her testimony with the audience as well. Austin was also able to preach and share a challenging and encouraging message to men and women.

After the crusade we were able to stay up later and sing and dance and play games with our Guyanese brothers and sisters in front of the church. This truly warmed our hearts to be able to do this.

Today was our last day of VBS. We had a total of about 185 kids. Our biggest day yet. Praise the Lord. Each one of these kids was loved on by our team and all heard the Gospel presented. It was hard to leave these kids!

After VBS we had lunch and packed up our luggage and came to our hotel in Georgetown where we are spending our final days debriefing our trip and going to do some sight seeing and shopping.

Tonight we had our large group debrief time where we shared our experiences of the trip and where we have seen the Lord at work this week. This was an amazing time of celebrating together!

Tonight we figured out that over 3,000 people heard the gospel presented over the past week. Praise Jesus for the work he is doing in Crabwood Creek.

Though our time and ministry there is done, please continue to pray for Pastor Vishal and Naomi and their ministry there. For their church. For their community that they may come to know the Lord more. That the people who have all heard the gospel may be accepting of it and pursue Christ.

Pray for our team as we finish up our trip for safety and good health. Pray for us as our trip winds down that we may not grow too discouraged that it is over soon. We have all bonded very well and connected and have built beautiful new relationships and friendships!

As always thank you for partnering with us!
