How Do I drop off and pick up my student?

In 78, students can show up and leave on their own for events and Wednesday nights. They simply come and check themselves in, and then leave when programming is done. Some parents opt to walk their kids to check in, which is always welcomed! We do suggest having a meeting point somewhere in the building for you and your child to meet when programming is completed.

We will always have a greeter at the designated Calvary entrance to welcome and say goodbye to our students during special events!

What does Sunday Morning programming look like?

The primary goal at Calvary Church is for your 7th and 8th grade student to worship alongside their family in the main service. By requiring parent participation, we can help encourage family worship. Alongside that, we cover some deep topics, and having the parent engaged with the lesson ensures that they are equipped to further discuss the topics throughout the week.

What happens when programming is canceled?

If 7th & 8th grade programming is canceled, we do our best to send you an email to keep you notified! Calvary follows the Forest Hills Public School System for weather-related cancellations. Whether it is due to a snow day, illness, or trip out of town, we all have to miss a Wednesday night now and then. In order to continue moving forward with our schedule, we record and upload our Wednesday night lessons each week on our Middle School Ministry YouTube Channel so you can stay up-to-date with what we are learning!

Can my child bring a friend?

The answer is YES! Your child may bring another seventh or eighth grade student to any of our weekly programming or special events. When you invite a friend, please have them complete this Calvary Release Waiver .

Where Is 78 Located?

We meet in the upper Student Ministry wing, primarily in room 208. To find us, head towards the Chapel, and turn left, keep walking and you will bump into us!

If you are a dad of a 5th-8th grader, you are welcome to join us on Monday Mornings in the Wild Honey Cafe in the Gathering Place from 7:00-8:00 AM for our Dad’s Bible Study. We will be brewing up some hot coffee & diving into the Word together. Stop on by and join us whenever you can!
