Society constantly demands that women be beautiful. This passage from 1 Peter makes that same challenge. However, Biblical beauty looks much different. Things like modesty, submission are not frequently associated with beauty in today’s culture but are essential to being beautiful in the eyes of God. This passage offers the encouragement that God is the ultimate judge of true beauty and as the creator of beauty God is the one truly qualified judge.
