Confessing Jesus is Lord

In this message, Pastor Jim shares that the idea of participating with God in the work of salvation can be uncomfortable. We tend to think, “if He is God, He will do it all Himself” (therefore, no one needs to do anything) or “If I botched this all up, then I should be the one to make it right” (therefore, I need to do something incredibly hard to reconcile the relationship). While there is an element of truth in both of these thoughts, according to Romans 10, these thoughts are errors! We cannot make things right on our own and although God moved first in restoring our relationship, we must confess “Jesus is Lord” and believe God raised Him from the dead to inherit eternal life. There is no other way.
