Fight, Flight or Submit

Reflecting on Peter’s actions in the Garden of Gethsemane, this sermon provides insight for those in the midst of oppressive circumstances on how God would desire them to behave. It is noted that this insight applies to those suffering because of their own choices or those of others. The key idea is to consider God and what he is trying to do through the situation you find yourself in, instead of assuming that there is no purpose to the event. In the midst of oppressive circumstances we are called to trust God, the Good Shepherd, to guide us out.
