Redemption
As we begin a new series we learn the opening claim of Matthew’s Gospel is that Jesus is the Messiah, the Savior of the World. In this message, we hear seven stories of God’s saving power and love—Jacob, Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, David, Jehoiachin, and Mary. As we do, we are reminded that Jesus is God coming among us to exercise that same saving power and love to rewrite our stories.
