The Life Together series begins by introducing us to God’s plan for rescuing the broken universe in which we live. This particular sermon introduces us to the main actor in God’s plan: the person of Jesus. The meaning of his full name, Lord Jesus Christ, is broken down so we can understand him as the fully divine, fully human Savior of the world. When we understand who Jesus is we are able then to see his role in our own lives, providing us with a way back to God through his sacrifice.
