The Shoot From the Stump

In this message from Isaiah 11 we see a prophecy about the coming of Jesus. The prophecy is revealed to us from the perspective of Isaiah, waiting for Jesus to come. We stand in a time that follows that coming…  Jesus, a descendant of David, a resident of Nazareth, has come… and yet we wait again. We are people living “between the mountains,” believing in the God who pays attention to details and brings life from death, yet also waiting for the fullness of God to come once more. As we wait, we can experience peace, knowledge of God, life, fruit, blessing and rest even now as we put our faith in the Lord.
