Theology of Sacrifice

In this message Pastor Jim gives a Biblical overview of sacrifice to better understand Paul’s use of the word in Romans 12. The Old Testament shows us two key sacrifices: the sin offering and the thanks offering. The sin offering was given to make restitution for sin, while the thanks offering was given to express gratitude towards God. Pastor Jim explains that Paul’s use of sacrifice in Romans 12 is an expression of gratitude to God for His love for us in Christ.
