I thrived all week! My time in West Virginia has been a blast, while I was here I started talking to more people and it was so much fun. On Wednesday we got to paint the community park, I felt like we helped the community out a lot and I feel we showed people how God can work in their community.
We also got to go to a retirement home and we got to talk to so many people there and seeing smiles we got after praying for them and handing out gift bags was so awesome!
I feel like getting to know the staff here in YWAM helped a lot with opening up, Joel W opened up a lot about worship and how it can help seek more about God, Joel S blessed us with amazing food every day, Tiffany opened up at Energy Express and letting us talk and hang out with children and getting to know them and letting us be there for them when they might not have a friend to talk to everyday so I felt so blessed and happy, and there is so many more things everyone at YWAM that I learned.
I feel like getting to know the Lord better is awesome every day. He told me everything I need to know about Him so I can become closer to Him! I just give thanks to Lord for allowing me to go on this trip. God told me in church one day this was a better choice to go on this trip because I would get to talk to more people and get to learn more about my leaders and also getting to know the Lord better. Because if I stayed home I’d feel like I wouldn’t have gotten to learn more about God, I would be sitting at home doing nothing so I just give thanks to God everyday!
