Saturday was a day to debrief and Sunday we traveled home. The end of the week picked up pace and in some ways it felt like we were just starting the work we came to do as we got into more of a rhythm. There are many more stories of people to tell and work that God is doing on Lesvos in the refugee population than is easy to relate. But God gave us the ability to connect with different people and we carry prayers for them home in our hearts.

We debriefed the week with All4Aid workers and we were able to communicate how wonderful it was to work with them and that we look forward for future teams to follow to continue the partnership. They too appreciated the way we were able to seamlessly come alongside the work God has given them to do. Dawn emphasized on Saturday night that upon our return, we have a responsibility to share the stories of what God is doing: even at home we can share how God has used us and continues to use the long term and resident missionaries in the lives of those precious people in crisis. We reflected on the ways Almighty God is working and how he does not need us for His work and will, yet He invited us to participate. In this way, it is an honor to be a part of this kingdom work. He used each of us in different ways, as He created us with different giftings. As we wrap up this team report on the work on Lesvos, we are humbled and honored to have been able to serve there and are thankful for those whom God brought on our path. We are thankful for you too for reading these reports and for all the different forms of support we have received from start to finish. To God be the glory.
