False teachers are those who lead people astray from the truth of the Gospel. We are taught three lessons about them in 2 Peter. While there are things that we should not be ignorant of when it comes to false teachers, we also have to be just as careful to not judge others. Ultimately, God knows how to protect His flock and it is our job to humble ourselves before Him and remain in His Word.
