Membership

We believe membership in the local church is important. Membership means commitment: learning what we believe and why, community: participating in the life of this church, contributing: giving back to God what He so richly gives to us.

Calvary Equip: What We Believe (Membership Class)

This course is open to anyone wanting to explore what Calvary Church believes and teaches.  It is a pre-requisite for membership, but we encourage anyone who wants to become more familiar with what we believe to take the class.  The class is open to anyone 12 years of age or older. Upon completion of the class and the membership application, your name will appear in the bulletin as having applied for membership.  You will then be scheduled an interview with two of our elders.  This interview is just to get to know you and for you to be able to ask any questions you may have. After the interview, your application will be submitted to the elders, and upon approval, you will receive a letter welcoming you in to the fellowship of members.

Membership classes are held throughout the year. If you would like more information about when the next class is, contact Karen VanHolstyn at 956-9377, ext. 5173 or search “What We Believe” on the calendar page.
