It’s the End of the World As We Know It

2 Peter tells us the day is coming when Jesus will return and that his return and that his coming will fire and destruction.  To many the descriptions can cause great fear and anxiety.  However, scripture assures us frequently that the coming of the LORD promises great hope and blessing for those who serve him.  Yes, this present earth will be destroyed, yes many will be punished.  For followers of Christ the Day of the LORD is a day we should eagerly anticipate.
