Preparing a Place

While many of us experience stress, burdens and fears in this life, Jesus encourages us not to let our hearts be troubled. While we may experience circumstances that are frightening, Jesus didn’t live in a state of fear and we’re exhorted not to do so either. At this very moment, Jesus is preparing a life in heaven for us based on blessing us in proportion to how we have suffered in our roles today. By taking our focus off our present circumstances and setting our gaze on what is to come, Jesus helps us to see the bigger picture. The suffering we experience in this life prepares us for what is to come, when Jesus will redeem the brokenness of this world.
