Shamelessly Bold

Knowing how to pray can often be difficult.  Knowing why to pray can often be confusing.  This passage sheds a lot of light on how and why we should pray.  The illustration that Jesus uses implores us to approach God with a shameless boldness recognizing that without God’s intervention we are heading towards disaster.  We need God desperately and to pray with boldness is to recognize that fact.
