Central Asia Team is preparing to leave!

Posted by Natalie Uecker on with 4 Comments

Our Central Asia team is preparing to leave!

Take a moment to imagine leaving Grand Rapids to arrive in an entirely different country where you only know your teammates and your missionary. Then think about walking off that plane prepared to do everything that God asks of you in a world that is completely unknown.  This is the spreading of the Gospel. This is Calvary Church following God's plan for Kingdom Work. And this is our team asking for your prayer support as they embark on a season of discipleship in an area where Jesus is unknown.

They will have spotty internet and may not be able to post to the blog as often as they would like to so following their prayer calendar (below) is important.

Thanks to all of you for understanding the enormity of their undertaking. Thank you for your donations to the team, without which they would never be going around the world. And, thank you for your prayers.

In Christ,

Natalie

Keegan: We had no idea how hard it would be to not be able to directly check in with you and encourage you along this trip. I do not realize how spoiled I am with texting you all of the time :) We have been praying for you and your team all evening. I just want to send you a quick text ( but I can't) and tell you how much I love you and that we are praying hard and trusting God. But I know you will see this message eventually. We love you so much Keegan and are so happy for you and excited for you to be on your way to the other side of the world serving with all of your heart. It is so cool because we are so far away yet God could not be closer and that is all you need. I started reading the book of Romans again tonight and the gospel is the heart of God and He tells us to share it with the world and that is what you are doing. Wow, awesome. I love you so much it hurts kiddo but sharing the gospel and giving you to God is so worth the hurt. Jesus is worth it!!!!! love you......mom

When God is really stretching me I find peace in knowing that others are praying for me. Please know that I am praying like a warrior for all of you and will not stop.
Praying that you are getting a chance to rest after a very long 24 hours of traveling. We are getting ready to go to bed so we are rested for church in the morning and you had to skip tonight and go straight to morning. What a blessing for the first morning you are there to be a Sunday morning and you are able to attend church and worship. That is an amazing way to begin your time there. I love how God creates even small blessings to keep us filled with His love and strength. Praying that all of your bodies are able to get some much needed respite from traveling and that today brings peace, rest and that God draws you close to His side. Lean hard of God today because He is strong, able and loves nothing more than to carry you when you are weary. Praying you will gain rest and strength today. I will sing many praises to God at church in the morning and thank Him for sending you all to do a great work for our Lord Jesus Christ. May God Bless You Today! I love you Keegan!!!! hugs from all of us :) love you tons......mom

I'm praying for you all every time I think of you, which is quite often!

So thankful to hear you are all doing well! God is so faithful! Praying for your continued preparations. Praying for good physical health. Praying for open hearts ♥️. Shed some serious tears on Sunday morning in church while praising and thanking God for all of you and your selfless servant's hearts. Hoping you are feeling the covering of pray over each of you. Every person I talk to says how much they are praying for this team. To God be the glory. Love and Hugs!!!!!
