$100HSM: Camping with Tom| Wednesday, July 27 – Friday, July 29| $100
If you completed your sophomore year of high school and are going to be a JUNIOR or SENIOR for the 22-23 school year, this event is JUST FOR YOU!
Each summer, we enjoy tent camping at Interlochen State Park and having a blast in the surrounding area (Glen Arbor / Traverse City) with a group of students who are heading into either their junior or senior year in high school. Camping with Tom is one of our favorite things that we do with students, as it is a great opportunity to forge deeper relationships with your friends, get to know Tom, and enjoy both fantastic conversations and lots of outdoor adventure. Our students often come away from Camping with Tom having encountered the Lord in our discussions and feeling more connected to one another than ever.
Pickup and Drop-off Location: Calvary Church, Entrance D
Scholarships are available. Registration, which includes the application questions below, is required and will be due by Monday, June 27. Register at mycalvarygr.org
Be prepared to answer the following questions when you register:
- I have a tent(s) that I am willing to bring to Camping with Tom: Yes / No. I can provide _______________ tents. My tent(s) is designed to sleep ____________ people.
- In what ways would you like to see Calvary’s High School Ministry grow? (can be within the youth group, how we impact the community / the world, etc.)
- Is there a particular issue or topic you’ve been thinking through that you’d like addressed/discussed at Camping with Tom? (Can be a biblical idea you wrestle with, something you’d like to understand better, etc.)
- Please list two questions you’d like Pastor Tom to answer.
- List any ways Tom + the HSM team can be praying for you currently.
