Join us for the third annual Sportsman’s Banquet at Calvary Church!

We are so excited for this year’s event. It will have fun for the whole family! There will be games, prizes, and an amazing gourmet meal featuring appetizers from Big O’s Smokehouse and braised venison shank entrée from our award-winning chef! We will be giving away thousands of dollars in prizes. Register as an individual or table. Kids tickets are $15 for ages 10 and under.

Keynote Speaker Adam Ray

Adam Ray is an avid outdoorsman whose passion for hunting and fishing began early in his youth when the occasional sighting of a deer spawned dreams of one day becoming a big game hunter. Those dreams became a reality when someone from his church took him “up north” deer hunting at the age of 14! From that point on, Adam has harvested two black bears, and over 100 deer including 11 Pope and Young bucks. He has also hunted Kodiak Island for blacktail deer and caribou. Adam is also the director of Hunting the Harvest which combines his love for Christ with his passion for the outdoors. Adam currently serves as the Student Ministry/Young Adults Pastor at Harvest Bible Chapel in Traverse City, MI. He has been in Student ministry now for 24 years.  He has been married to his wife Rachel for 24 years and has 4 children.

Seminar Speaker Paul Zelenka

Paul is the captain of the Betty Lou and President of the Grand Haven Steelheaders. He has a passion for sportfishing on Lake Michigan, and preserving this privilege for future generations through education and conservation. When he’s not on the big lake bringing in trout and salmon, Paul teaches high school and manages a plant nursery in West Olive!

Seminar Speaker Tim Simonis

Tim started going to Ontario with his father when he was 12 years old. Now as co-owner of Flint Wilderness Resort in northern Ontario one of his greatest joys is to help fathers and mothers put their kids on fish. Tim is also a licensed bear operator and just wrapped up his fourth season, guiding bear hunters in both spring and fall.
