In this message, we hear God’s answer to how the church should engage the culture around us. We learned that the book of Matthew calls itself the “Genesis of Jesus,” and through Jesus, God has promised to bless the whole world, so Matthew is identified as a cultural witness. We also see how Jesus lays the groundwork by exhibiting what the role of the church should look like within our world.
