Many of us can easily ride on our reputation of pleasing God and our reputation of being faithful and the same goes with our Churches. God confronts the Church of Sardis on this very topic. This passage in Revelation reveals how to be truly faithful to Jesus rather than depending on the outward appearance of faithfulness that doesn’t please God.
