Where are you personally, today? In our hands we can choose to hold the bread and the cup, yesterday in those same hands we may have held our 401k statement, or a newspaper declaring new financial help coming. Which of these two things are you looking toward in your heart of hearts? Is it the hope that humans will sort out our world’s issues or the recognition that God loved you enough to send His son to die for you and that He is powerful enough to raise Him from the dead? The body and the blood of Christ represent the ability to change hearts – yours, mine and the world. That is where there is real hope.
