Identity

In the same way that our clothes say something about us so too our behaviors reflect who we are. Our clothes can cause us to think a certain way about ourselves or the way we think about ourselves can affect the way we dress.  Our behaviors can work the exact same way.  Our identity is Christ is marked by our behavior.  As new creations we are called to put away old behaviors and take on new behaviors.  God is calling us away from the sinful actions that marked our lives before and into righteous lives that represent the redemptive work he has done in us.
