Being part of a local church is so essential to avoiding the philosophies of the world- it is where you find Christ. You may hear arguments for Christ at a Christian school , you may learn traditions about Christianity in a history class, but the Bible says you find Christ most fully in his body- which is the local church. There are different types of places calling themselves the church. However, it is of utmost importance to be finding one that seeks to proclaim, discuss, and submit to the Word of God.
