When Jews celebrate Passover, it is not just a corporate celebration of what God did for the nation of Israel, but an individual celebration of what God has done for each person individually. This is exactly what communion should be like for us. It is about our individual stories of how Jesus has taken our sin, so that we can be at peace with God eternally.
