Leadership
Spiritual leadership is about taking people from where they are to where God wants them to go. In Acts 6, there are two groups of leaders: the apostles, whose chief concern was discerning and proclaiming the will of God, and those selected for the distribution of food, whose chief concern was administering. In our context, we see the same types of leadership in elders/pastors and those who lead in ministry and service. The church that changes the world is filled with men and women who discern and proclaim the will of God AND administer the church so that God’s will is accomplished. These are not usually the same people.
