Control
One of the hardest things in life is relinquishing control. We like to plan and prepare so that things will go the way we would like. One of the scariest things in life is when we have absolutely no control. This chapter of Proverbs reminds us that we are never truly in control but that in all things God is in control. Nothing happens out of God’s sight and no event is random. It can be tempting to try and exert control over our circumstances. However, the person who fears the LORD acknowledges that God is the one in control and cries out to him.
