In this message, we look at the story of Dinah, Jacob’s daughter, being sexually assaulted by Shechem. We exam the responses of different parties in the story and how they line up with the way in which God sees victims of sexual assault.
Ultimately the hope of this message is that through Jesus, God is creating a community of faith where victims today can experience what Dinah did not. A community where the Spirit causes people to feel your pain, to believe the truth about your story, to walk with you during the process of healing, and to share their own struggles and point you to God in the midst of them all.
