Weekly Focus:

Resources for Sunday Morning Gathering

Instead of gathering on-site today, we are coming together online as a church community for one service at 10:45am. We encourage you to gather with your small group, neighbors or other friends in your home and worship in community.  The following are resources you can utilize to worship together in your home.

Communion
During the service Pastor Jim will lead us in the ordinance of communion. When the time comes in the service for communion, have bread (or crackers) and juice (or pop or another beverage) available.

Worship Songs
The lyrics for the songs we plan to sing are here. We’ve also linked videos of each song below, if you’d like to listen to them beforehand.

Involve All Ages
Provide paper and pencil for kids, have a light snack or even some quiet toys available. Know that even if your child is moving around they are still listening. Consider having your child welcome your family (and any others you invite) to church before the livestream. Your kids can also help pass out communion. No matter what age you’re gathering with, share the experience by offering roles for everyone to play!

Be Prepared
Set up your computer or television for streaming prior in advance so you’re not frustrated when 10:45 hits. We will stream the service at calvarygr.org/live. There is an app available from Livestream – search for for “calvarygr” under accounts. There is a chat on our livestream if you have any questions during the service.

Giving an Offering
While we will not be collecting an offering during the service, you can give online at mycalvarygr.org anytime. You can also give by text (text the amount you’d like to give to 616-294-0700). Checks can be mailed to PO Box 1600, Grand Rapids, MI 49501.

Spiritual Need
If you have a spiritual need, we are here for you and we want to come alongside you. Our staff is always available. Contact (616) 956-9377, press 6 and leave a voicemail. Someone will be in touch with you shortly.
