Oasis (Older Adult) Luncheon
An Introduction to the LGBTQ Conversation Calvary Church is committed to educating ourselves to be more thoughtful, understanding and kind to LGBTQ people and their families while still holding to the Bible’s historic understanding of regarding marriage, sexuality and gender. Your children and grandchildren are being exposed daily to teaching which is antithetical to a biblical worldview. They need you to be the thought-leader in your family. Our Oasis luncheon speaker will help us do just that. Clare De Graaf is an elder at Calvary, author and blogger. He’s also the co-founder and chairman of The Center for Faith, Sexuality and Gender (www.centerforfaith.com). A delicious lunch of soup, salad, wraps and dessert will be served. Purchase your tickets at Wednesday Bible Study or contact Carla by January 30. Location: Gathering Place (Entrance A & B)
