This passage tells us the story of ten men who go to Jesus and ask for healing. Jesus sends these ten men to the priests and while they were traveling they were healed. Despite the amazing blessing they received from Jesus nine of the men never bothered to express any gratitude. Jesus could have healed them on the spot however, the gap between their interaction with Jesus and the healing requires faith that it was Jesus who healed them and not another factor. Jesus has done so much for us and it requires faith for us to recognize that and then express gratitude. The greatest thing Jesus has given us is salvation. It can be easy to forget but our faith should remind us that Jesus deserves our gratitude for saving us.
