For this message, we read from Matthew 22:23-33. The Sadducees ask Jesus a question about the resurrection. We see they do not truly know the scripture and the power of God. This lack of understanding led to confusion and fear, followed by polarization and ultimately hostility and violence. We see we are to approach scripture with a heart willing to be taught by Jesus.
