WHO WE ARE
We believe that people can attend many meetings, services and classes, but without authentic community they will never truly find meaningful connections with other Christians. Because of this belief, our desire is for everyone who attends Calvary to be part of a smaller Community Group. It is in community where people experience God's love by meeting together regularly, studying God's Word, praying together and caring for one another. Learn more about the four essentials of community here.
WHAT COMMUNITY LOOKS LIKE
Community Groups: meet in homes, at the church and other locations throughout the greater Grand Rapids area. Each group determines when and where they will meet. Most groups meet twice a month.
There are three ways to sign up for a Community Group:
- Attend the Community Group launches that are held twice a year
- Visit the Connection Point on Sunday morning
- Contact our office ( ) and we will help find a group for you.
Adult Sunday Classes: are made up of various size groups of people that meet for fellowship, education and outreach on Sunday mornings.
Monday Night Bible Study: is a place where men and women of all ages meet together every Monday evening throughout the school year to study God’s word, for prayer and for fellowship. The evening begins at 7:00pm with men and women each meeting in small groups for about an hour, then for the last half hour, we all meet together for teaching until 8:30.
